Guided Nature Hikes

Enjoy a 60 - 90 min out and back hike with one of our SC Master Naturalist along the Kingsnake Trail in Congaree National Park. Along the way they will share information and answer questions about all we’re sure to find around every bend. With an abundance of diverse vegetation and wildlife this tour is perfect for all ages and interest levels and a favorite for birders as well.

Conditions along the Kingsnake trail can include uneven ground, muddy areas, possible limbs or trees crossing the trail. In the spring and summer, you should expect bugs and spider webs, so please apply bug spray in the parking lot. You should be prepared for these conditions and dress accordingly.

Guided Nature Hikes may require a minimum number of participants. The cost is $15 per person for all ages. Some nature hikes may also be bundled with our signature kayaking trip along Cedar Creek!"
